A concert has been organised by Red Cross to help raise funds, part of the funds will go to the victims of Pakistan's earthquake also. FPFO volunteers will be present at the occasion for money collection in our ongoing money collection compaign. Here are details if you would like to pay a visit.

FPFO has been collecting money, under the umbrella of Finnish Red Cross, for the victims of Pakistan's worst earthquake in its history. We deeply appreciate all those of you who have been contributing in helping us organise this compaign in any capacity.
This saturday (29.10.2005) again we will be out for street collectiong. We urge ALL our volunteers to, please, join us once again for this noble cause to help us help those people who have already suffered a lot in past three weeks.
This time FPFO's representative will be Seija Sultan. Our planned money collection timings are from 11:00-16:00 and meeting point will be cafejava near forum in Helsinki City Center. |

FPFO's money collection compaingn, under the umbrella of FINNISH RED CROSS, continues. We have had a very encouraging weekend and had a very good response from donars. We intend to continue to try to collect as much donations as possible in coming days. All our volunteers will, once again, go for street collection during coming weekend. FPFO volunteers are working with FINNISH RED CROSS for street collection for Pakistan's Earthquake Victims. Currently street collection is going on in Greater Helsinki Area (Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa), Turku, Vaasa and Tampere. Efforts are being made to start this street collections in other cities as well. If you live in other cities and are willing to volunteer for RED CROSS' street collection, contact us for guidence.
